You never know what’s round the corner,
Waiting to jump out,
So take that corner carefully,
Go slowly when in doubt.
Tomorrow is a new adventure,
Full of great unknowns,
That corner may be what you need,
Or full of danger zones.
But if you travel in straight lines,
With everything in view,
You’ll likely miss the best of life,
As you go rushing through.
The twists and turns we take each day
Can lead to great agility,
Perhaps it’s time to celebrate
Life’s unpredictability.
